Wall fixed basketball goals
We install basketball goals
fixed to the wall in sports halls and gymnasia. These can be fitted flush
to the wall or on projection brackets. We make any brackets required to
fit these basketball goals to the existing building or structure. We install
- Flush mounted basketball
goals
- Projecting basketball goals
on 300mm, 600mm, 900mm and 1200mm extensions
- These can incorporate the
adjustable height backframe to allow Mini Basketball games as well

Wall hinged basketball goals
We install folding basketball
goals with up to 4.7m projection in sports halls and gymnasia. We make
any brackets required to fit these basketball goals to the existing building
or structure. We install
-
Side hinged basketball
goal projecting up to 3.7m with a diagonal brace for locking into
place - a cost effective option for a folding goal. (check there is
sufficient space for the goal to fold back without interfering with
cricket nets or fixed PE apparatus)
-
Vertical hinged basketball
goal projecting up to 4.7m with manual or electric winch - a cost
effective option for long projections, does not interfere with cricket
lanes when folded, is more stable for long projections (reduces board
and ring movement), can be fitted to building columns without any
cross beams
-
Unistem basketball goal
projecting up to 7m with manual or electric winch. This is the ideal
option where the goal projects from a spectator gallery as coupled
with an acrylic backboard visual intrusion is minimised

Ceiling hinged basketball
goals
We install folding basketball
goals with up to 7m projection in sports halls and gymnasia which fold
up into the ceiling. We make any brackets required to fit these basketball
goals to the existing building or structure. We install
- Forward folding basketball
goals - these utilise a long arm hinged at the ceiling with the board
set at the correct angle for any projection over 4.2m from an end wall.
Goals are then lifted to the ceiling for storage with a manual or electric
winch - an effective solution for large projections, an offset court,
or where a side hinged basketball goal would interfere with other equipment
eg cricket net lanes or wall fixed PE apparatus
- Backward folding basketball
goals - an alternative to the forward folding goals where ceiling fittings
or services such as lights or heating prevent the former
- Unistem forward folding
basketball goals - an alternative to the standard forward folding goal
where minimal steel work is required to improve spectator vision (where
there is a balcony behind a goal). These can be fitted to steel work
in the ceiling or at the top of a wall. These goals are more compact
but need to be fixed to a structural beam or column
- Unistem side hinged goal
- a special adaptation for sports halls where ceiling structures or
services or hall dimensions will not allow a conventional set up

Basketball goal winches
and arrestors
We install manual and electric
winches for operating basketball goals and safety arrestors. We install
-
Manual winches which are
all self braked and are fitted at 2m height so as not to present an
obstruction. For short lifts these work adequately but for higher
lifts an electric winch makes life much easier
-
Electric winches which
are fitted at ceiling height ideally to the goal hinge point. The
winch can be operated by a switch or a remote control handset. A single
phase spur must be provided within 1m of the winch location (for remote
operation) or key switch (for switch operation)
-
Safety arrestors - all
overhead goals should be fitted with an arrestor for safety

Freestanding basketball
goals
We supply and install any anchors
required for freestanding basketball goals. We supply
- Freestanding competition
folding basketball goals - a solid heavy weight goal for competitions
where building structures will not permit a wall or ceiling hinged type.
These are heavy and bulky units yet will fit through a double doorway
- Freestanding practice basketball
goals with small backboards and often with sand or water filled bases
for stability. These are suitable for interior or exterior use but should
never be left standing outside while not in use
|
|
|
|
External socketed basketball
goals
We install basketball goals
in the ground for external use. We install
- Single post goals either
concreted permanently into the ground or slotting into a socket which
is concreted into the ground
