Outdoor and indoor traversing
walls
Traversing walls are a great
way to convert a plain wall into an exciting opportunity.
Our traverse wall incorporates holds and fixings fitted to an existing
solid internal or external wall. We will install up to 3 rows of foot
holds and up to 3 rows of handholds.
Footholds do not exceed 600mm from the ground or floor so no safety surfacing
is required.
The top row of handholds is 1800mm from the ground with a 600mm gap between
the top row of footholds and bottom row of handholds to prevent the wall
being used for climbing.
We can also paint the wall with non slip climbing paint to improve the
look and feel.

(resin anchors for soft or hollow brick walls are available as an option)
Bolt and special hex head key
Holds and fixings for 1 linear metre of wall can have either 12, 15 or
18 holds (12 = 2 rows of hand and foot holds, 15 = 3 rows of hand holds
and 2 rows of foot holds, 18 = 3 rows of hand and foot holds)

Traversing wall panel
Traversing wall panel, 2.4m
height x 1.2m width, which can be installed onto a solid structure (eg
a wall or fence) inside or outside to provide a solid flat plane for fixing
holds where individual fixings are not possible.
The panels are weatherproof and coated with a non slip surface and have
3 rows of foot holds and 3 rows of handholds. Footholds do not exceed
600mm from the bottom of the panel so no safety surfacing is required
and the top row of handholds is 1800mm from the bottom of the panel. There
is a 600mm gap between the top row of footholds and bottom row of handholds
to prevent the wall being used for climbing.
Panels can be painted to make them more colourful and the top edge cut
to form a wave or whatever shape may be required.

2.4m x 1.2m plywood panel with a high grip polyester coating and BZP fixings
at 12/m2 (stainless steel fixings and marine ply are available as an option

Prices are for supply only for 1 panel with 18 holds and 18 fixings per
linear metre.
